Actual delivery time will vary according to your delivery zone - in most cases it averages 5-10 business days from the day the order was placed. Items that are out of stock will be back ordered and will be shipped immediately upon arrival. Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control will require additional shipping time. How do ratios work?Most spinning wheels have at least two ratios and many have several. The drive band is slipped into grooves in the whorl and drive wheel to give different flyer speeds. A fast speed (ratio) is better for fine yarns that require a lot of twist. A slow speed (ratio) if better for lofty and/or bulky yarns. |
